Subject: Regarding Gaza

Dear Secretary Blinken,

I have sent the letter attached to this letter to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli Embassy. The embassy declined to accept the letter, presumably mistaking it for a protest letter. The Gaza issue can be resolved as outlined in the attachment.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Western Wall are inseparable. Without one, the other cannot exist. Ariel Sharon was the first to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque. If Sharon’s mistake is rectified, the issue of East Jerusalem can be resolved. Additionally, there needs to be a connection to the sea for East Jerusalem. A road linking Jerusalem to the Mediterranean and a port there.

Abraham Lincoln, a statesman whom I greatly admire, has spoken on many issues, particularly on the subject of freedom. He said, “Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves.” And also, “Those who deny freedom to others will not long retain it for themselves.”

Allow me please to be your advisor. I can help with some things.

Best regards,
Mustafa Bilgili

Subject: Regarding Gaza

Dear Minister Hakan Fidan,

“I am interested in the water flowing into the sea of Manavgat.” The Manavgat project was initiated upon a request from Gaddafi.’’ Later, this water was intended to be sold to Israel. However, Israel does not accept dependency. Instead of paying 50 cents per ton for the Manavgat water, Israel prefers to pay 1 dollar and opt for desalinating seawater. The project remained unresolved. I took this project my duty and traveled to Libya.

Gaddafi’s men requested mediation. The Gaddafi regime seeks to establish relations with Israel. Through a friend’s intervention, we secured a meeting. I met with the former Israeli ambassador to Ankara, Mr. Zvi Elpeleg, at his home in Tel Aviv.

Zvi Elpeleg had written a book about Sherif Hussein, engaged in discussions with Palestinian representatives, and was an active individual well-versed in the matter. May his soul rest in peace. From that meeting, I gathered that Israel desires peace and does not seek war at home. They were planning to relinquish the Golan Heights to Syria to achieve peace.

Israel should purchase Gaza, similar to Virginia or Alaska. Libya has vast land and a sparse population. Land can be bought from Libya for Gazans, and they can be relocated there. The water from Manavgat can be connected to Libya, providing water resources for the country. This solution would provide free land for Gazans to live independently, and Israel would no longer have an issue with Gaza.

After retiring, I moved from Istanbul to Aydin. I renovated my childhood home, but my brother did not let me be at ease. He saw my arrival as a disruption. I purchased land elsewhere and built a new house. Now I am content, and I am glad I left that place. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is an ongoing inheritance dispute. Once it starts, it seems never-ending.

At the time, the Manavgat Project was said to cost 250 million dollars. Let water be the first step towards a solution and bring peace. When I say “let it be,” if there is a duty upon me, I will fulfill it and conduct certain negotiations.

Sincerely,
Mustafa Bilgili
